2025 Fantasy Outlook
Olszewski didn't play at all in 2024 due to a groin injury. Nonetheless, the Giants re-signed the veteran return specialist near the beginning of training camp after Bryce Ford-Wheaton suffered a season-ending Achilles injury. Olszewski has never caught more than five passes in an NFL regular season, as he's worked almost exclusively as a return specialist. That will likely be his role in 2025 as well, though Ihmir Smith-Marsette is expected to be the Giants' top kick and punt returner. Read Past Outlooks

Done for Week 13 due to concussion
Olszewski will be sidelined for the remainder of Monday's game against New England after being diagnosed with a concussion, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
ANALYSIS
Olszewski took a huge helmet-to-helmet hit while returning a kick in the second quarter. He lost a fumble on the play and was immediately evaluated for a concussion. Now that a concussion has been confirmed, Olszewski won't be able to return to the contest, and he'll conclude the week with three kick returns for 54 yards. The Giants are on bye Week 14, but Olszewski will need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol in order to suit up Sunday, Dec. 14 against Washington.

2020
Olszewski saw plenty of work returning kickoffs and punts in New England in 2020 and 2021, and he signed a two-year deal with the Steelers ahead of the 2022 season. He lost his job as Pittsburgh's return man after fumbling twice over the first four weeks of the year, but he could begin 2023 as the primary returner after Steven Sims signed with the Texans. Offensively, he secured just five of seven targets for 53 yards while rushing eight times for 39 yards, so it seems unlikely that he'll be a significant fantasy contributor this year, especially after the team acquired Allen Robinson this offseason.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chance for bigger WR role Week 11
Olszewski has primarily served on special teams as a returner this season, but he could see a larger role in the Giants' offense during Sunday's game against the Packers after Darius Slayton was ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
ANALYSIS
Olszewski barely saw the field on offense through the first nine games of the regular season. However, he played 28 snaps on offense during the Giants' Week 10 loss to the Bears, which was the third most among wide receivers behind Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson. Olszewski has just three targets to his name through 10 regular-season games, but given Slayton's absence, the former is poised to take on a bigger role on offense while also contributing on special teams as the team's primary returner on kickoffs and punts.
