2025 Fantasy Outlook
Duvernay signed a one-year deal with the Bears in the offseason to serve as a return specialist and depth receiver. With the team's wide receiver room loaded, he has no offensive role, meaning he's only relevant in leagues that reward return yards. A two-time Pro Bowl return man, Duvernay hasn't topped 400 receiving yards since 2022 and averaged just 7.2 yards per catch in 2023. Read Past Outlooks
Minimal involvement
Duvernay caught one of three targets for two yards and returned three kickoffs for 96 yards in the Bears' 30-16 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Duvernay continued to work primarily as a return specialist while seeing limited offensive targets. His role offers little fantasy value outside of formats that count return production.

A 2020 third-round pick by Baltimore, Duvernay never developed into an impact receiver but is a weapon in the return game. He's likely to fill the latter role after signing a two-year deal with the Jaguars, which allowed their previous return man Jamal Agnew to walk. Duvernay totaled 90 catches for 880 yards and five touchdowns over his first three years with the Ravens but had just four catches for 18 yards in 2023. He's unlikely to be a significant contributor in Jacksonville's passing game with Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis and rookie first-rounder Brian Thomas slotted in as the team's top three wideouts.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Team's other WRs banged up
Duvernay could play a larger role in Week 9 against the Bengals, as top four Bears wide receivers Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Olamide Zaccheaus and Luther Burden all did not practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Odunze is dealing with a heel injury, Moore has hip and groin injuries, Zaccheaus has a knee injury and Burden has a concussion. Duvernay has been limited to one catch all season, but his usage could climb significantly if two or more of Chicago's injured wide receivers sit out Sunday against the Bengals.
