Rasmussen was out for Saturday's 1-0 win over Hoffenheim due to a muscle injury, according to manager Alexander Blessin, per Andreas Zschorsch of Bild. "We have to see how the MRI goes, then. It is something small, structural. Of course, I hope it's only one or two games."

Rasmussen was transferred from Union SG to St. Pauli, his new club announced. "We were able to convince Mathias, a very well-structured midfielder, to join FC St. Pauli. It is particularly important that he can play in various positions in the center, thus giving us additional options in midfield. Furthermore, he brings footballing maturity and international experience," Sporting director Andreas Bornemann said.
