Progressing, remains doubtful
Rodon (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday's match against Newcastle, according to manager Daniel Farke. "So what I can confirm is that Joe and Jayden were also today not in team training. Both are making good progress. If the Newcastle game comes too soon or there's a possibility to involve them somehow, we will see. But at the moment, it's perhaps more realistic that they are not ready for this game, but definitely then on the other side of the FA Cup fixture and we still have a bit of hope that perhaps one of them is able to support us also in Newcastle."

Eyeing three weeks out
Rodon (ankle) could be set to miss around three weeks and isn't expected to return until after the Jan. 11 FA Cup match against Derby County, according to manager Daniel Farke. "Yes, he will definitely miss the Liverpool game. The diagnosis is better than we were fearing straight after the game because it didn't look really good. But the assessment is it is an ankle ligament injury and normally, yeah, you will be out with such an injury for around three weeks. We still have a bit of hope because normally he is a good healer and also a strong boy."

Likely out two weeks
Rodon (ankle) is expected to be out until the January 11 match against Derby County, according to manager Daniel Farke, per Beren Cross of The Athletic. "It's pretty swollen at the moment. I doubt he will be available for Liverpool, and also, for the upcoming games before the FA Cup. So, we have to wait for some further assessment. But right now, straight after the game, it doesn't look too good."

Several teams want him
Several clubs in the Premier League and the Championship are interested in signing Rodon, according to Football London.
ANALYSIS
Ipswich, Southampton, Leicester and Leeds are among the clubs interested in signing the 26-year-old Wales and Tottenham defender. Rodon doesn't figure to have a role in Tottenham's squad for the 2024/25 season, so the best scenario for him would be to move elsewhere, preferably to a team where he can log regular first-team minutes.
