Nemeth suffered a groin injury in training and has now undergone successful surgery on Wednesday, the club announced.

Nemeth (adductor) is not in training Tuesday, according to Hamburger Morgen Post.

Nemeth (undisclosed) is ruled out for Saturday's season opener against Dortmund, coach Alexander Blessin said in the press conference. "David will be out for the weekend."
