2025 Fantasy Outlook
It took Knapp a while to make it on the PGA Tour, but once there, he wasted no time leaving his mark. Knapp picked up a win in February of 2024 and eventually landed in the top 50 on the money list at the end of the season. This past season was similar to his first in that he made just over $3 million, but he failed to find another win. Knapp did find a couple top-5s however, which boosted his earnings and a T12 at the PLAYERS helped a lot as well. If Knapp is to take the next step, he needs to play better against quality fields. To this point, most of his work has been done against weaker fields and until he shows that he can compete with the best players, the jury will remain out. As such, Knapp doesn't appear to be a great salary cap option this season. Even if he gets access to more Signature Events this season, he's yet to prove he can do any damage against the best fields. Knapp shot a bogey-free, four-under 66 during the final round at the Sony Open to finish tied for 11th with Si Woo Kim.
ANALYSIS
Knapp opened the tournament strong with a four-under 66 in the first round, and while he wasn't able to carry that forward over the following two days, he was able to finish strong enough to move into the top-15 on the leaderboard. Knapp had the 10th-best SG: Putting (4.49) in the field and finished 19th in SG: Off the Tee (1.92), though he ranked in the bottom half of the field in GIR and SG: Approach to Green. His efforts in Hawaii moved him up to 94th in the OWGR rankings, though he's not in the field for The American Express next week.

Knapp managed to finish 13th on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour points list despite ending his campaign without a single top-3 result, but he enjoyed one of the steadier seasons imaginable with just two missed cuts in 22 starts while racking up 15 top-25s and 10 top-10s. The former UCLA Bruin ranked second in driving distance, second in scrambling, fourth in putting average and fifth in total birdies, showcasing quite an impressive all-around game. He's made just four career appearances at the PGA Tour level, but Knapp's KFT metrics should put him on the deep sleeper radar.
