He's also missed time in each campaign, as he was ejected from a pair of games in his rookie season before battling a shoulder injury that sidelined him for three games in 2024. With those growing pains out of the way, it should line up for year three to be Walker's true breakout. However, the addition of Edgerin Cooper in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft muddies Walker's playing time projection. The coaching staff has called the duo "interchangeable," though it's not time to panic just yet considering Cooper hasn't played a down as a pro.
