Quay Walker

Walker enters the 2025 season in an interesting position, as the Packers declined the fifth-year option on his rookie contract but have stated they are open to signing him to an extension. His fit in the defense isn't exactly clear, however. Edgerrin Cooper displayed the potential as a rookie that the Packers were likely hoping for from Walker in the last three years. That could push the Packers toward moving on from him after the upcoming campaign. Even with some of those negatives, Walker has topped 100 tackles and two sacks in all three of his campaigns. Even if his future isn't in Green Bay for the long term, Walker should still be on the field in all early downs and oftentimes as a three-down linebacker in 2025. It's also possible he puts it all together in a late breakout, given how much is on the line for him in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
