There's not much to say that isn't known about Crosby, as he's established himself as one of the most determined pass rushers in the league across the last three seasons. His 2024 campaign was cut short by an ankle injury that required tightrope surgery, but there aren't any concerns about his availability for the new season. Crosby's per-snap production won't rival that of Myles Garrett or other truly elite pass rushers, but unlike Garrett, Crosby is routinely on the field for rushing downs. Crosby has been dealing with a knee issue for much of the season, but he's yet to miss a game. However, his status seemed to be in more peril than usual this week after he logged a DNP both Thursday and Friday. Nonetheless, it sounds like Crosby is going to give it a go against the Broncos despite the 2-10 Raiders having already been eliminated from playoff contention. Crosby has 8.0 sacks on the campaign and will be looking to reach the fourth double-digit sack season of his seven-year NFL career.

Crosby fought through a knee injury for much of the 2023 season, though it would be impossible to discern that by looking at his production. He led all defensive lineman with 1,081 snaps, or 63.6 per game. To put that in perspective, the next closest player at the position was Danielle Hunter, and he averaged 59.2 snaps per contest. Crosby has also played in every game as a pro, surely playing through several different issues at points throughout his career. Volume plays a key role in his fantasy value, as he doesn't have the same disruptive ability on a per snap basis as other elite players at the position. That makes him a slightly more fragile selection than his overall ranking may suggest, but it's impossible to deny his productivity and durability after five years in the NFL.
