2025 Fantasy Outlook
Garrett appeared to be on his way out the door in Cleveland, even going so far as requesting a trade. However, the Browns gave him 160 million reasons to stick around, and it appears more than likely that he'll spend his entire career with the team. Garrett earned that contract by being one of the most disruptive pass rushers in the league, delivering between 26 and 33 quarterback hits and 14 to 16 sacks in each of the last four seasons. There's no hint of a decline as he enters his age-30 season, with an established modest tackle total being the only downside to his fantasy profile. Read Past Outlooks
Maintains sack streak
Garrett logged five tackles and 1.0 sacks in Sunday's 26-8 loss to San Francisco in Week 13.
ANALYSIS
Garrett snuffed out a 49ers possession, sacking Brock Purdy on a third-and-4 at the Cleveland 41-yard line and forced San Francisco to punt. Unfortunately, the ensuing punt was muffed and recovered by the Niners, who scored to make it a two-touchdown deficit. That is a microcosm of the Browns' season: the defense holds strong but gets little help from the offense or special teams. Garrett has registered sacks in six straight games (15.0) and stands at 19.0 for the season with five games remaining.

Garrett added to his personal accolades in 2023, as he earned his first AP Defensive Player of the Year award. From an output perspective, Garrett's production fell in terms of both total tackles and sacks. In part, that was due to him being held out of Cleveland's final game of the regular season, but the more likely explanation was due to a shoulder injury that had noticeable impacts on his performance Weeks 12 and 13. In addition to having time recover from the shoulder issue, Garrett's underlying skills suggest there was no decline in skill or ability to disrupt opposing offenses. Most notably, Garrett total career highs in both quarterback pressures (86) and hurries (57), while matching his career-best in fumbles forced (4). If he can get through a healthy season, expect his statistical production to bounce back to his 2021 and 2022 levels.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Prime chance to add to sack total
Garrett is 3.5 sacks shy from tying the NFL's single-season sack record, and he'll have an opportunity to add to that total against Cam Ward and the Titans on Sunday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Ward has been sacked a league-leading 48 times through 12 regular-season games, and the Titans will be without starting center Lloyd Cushenberry for a second consecutive week due to a foot injury. Garrett has logged at least 1.0 sacks in six straight games and has tallied 3.0 sacks or more in three of his last five outings. Sunday's home tilt is a perfect opportunity for him to inch closer to the single-season sack record held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt.
