2025 Projections
Won't play Sunday
Krull (foot) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Krull has been on injured reserve since breaking his foot back in October, and the reserve tight end will have to miss yet another pivotal game. The 27-year-old was a full participant in practice throughout the week, but the space demanded by the active roster and the reserve player's relatively low-priority role are likely what kept him from being activated for Sunday's contest.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Krull didn’t have an NFL catch until Week 14 of last season, but he showed some promising pass catching ability down the stretch, turning 12 targets into eight catches for 95 yards and a touchdown over the final five games of 2023. While Greg Dulcich has the most upside among Denver’s tight ends, Dulcich has played just 12 games in two seasons and has already dealt with three separate hamstring injuries. Adam Trautman is returning after leading Denver’s tight ends in snaps last season, but he’s more valuable as a blocker than a pass catcher. There’s a path to an increased role for Krull in his age-26 season, especially if Dulcich gets hurt again, but keep in mind that Krull has just eight career catches.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could get more opportunities
Krull could see additional opportunities in the coming weeks, as Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports that Evan Engram injured his calf in Week 1 against the Titans.
ANALYSIS
If Engram misses any games, Krull and Adam Trautman would be in line for more snaps. Trautman is the more reliable blocker, but Krull may have some untapped potential as a pass catcher in a Denver offense without a clear second option in the passing game behind Courtland Sutton.
