2025 Fantasy Outlook
A 2024 sixth-round pick of the Patriots, Milton started one game as a rookie and made a big impression Week 18 against the Bills. In need of an understudy with some upside, the Cowboys acquired Milton to back up Dak Prescott, who was limited to eight games last season due to a torn hamstring. Prescott's injury history creates a plausible path to significant snaps for Milton in Dallas, but he still has to demonstrate his cannon of an arm has enough accuracy to be a reliable NFL quarterback. Milton appeared in four games for the Cowboys in 2025, completing 15 of 24 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. He added 50 rushing yards on five carries and lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
The second-year quarterback saw his most extensive action in Week 18, but Milton didn't make a single start as Dak Prescott stayed healthy for the entire season. Milton's athletic upside remains intriguing, but he's still very raw as a passer and is stuck behind the highest-paid QB in the entire NFL, giving him little fantasy appeal heading into next season other than as an insurance policy for Prescott.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Patriots selected Milton in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and while the Tennessee is no immediate threat to the depth chart standing of either veteran Jacoby Brissett or fellow rookie Drake Maye, the 6-5, 246-pounder is an intriguing developmental QB thanks to his impressive arm strength.
