Gets three-year deal with Raiders

March 9, 2026
Nailor agreed to terms on a three-year, $35 million contract with Las Vegas on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Nailor suited up for all 17 regular-season games with the Vikings in 2024 and 2025, totaling a combined 57-858-10 receiving line (95 targets) in that span. The 2022 sixth-round pick now lands in one of the few wide receiver corps in the league where he projects as a potential starter rather than a complementary option, joining Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton. Of course, tight end Brock Bowers (knee) is solidified as the No. 1 pass-catching option for the Raiders, but Nailor looks set to handle a significant role for Las Vegas' future quarterback, with the team slated to release Geno Smith and presumably select a rookie signal-caller at No. 1 overall in April's draft.

Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell has repeatedly praised Nailor since the team took him in the sixth round of the 2022 Draft, but it wasn't until last season that the young wideout got his big chance. After injuries limited him to six games in 2023, Nailor stayed healthy for all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and served as Minnesota's No. 3 receiver for the entire year. It wasn't a high-volume job, but Nailor made the most of his 42 targets, catching 28 passes for 414 yards and six touchdowns. Despite the strong showing, there's no guarantee of more opportunities this season, as the Vikings still have WRs Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison and now have added Adam Thielen and rookie third-round pick Tai Felton. Addison is suspended for the first three games, but Nailor has a hand injury threatening his availability for the same period.
A 2022 sixth-round pick, Nailor has run just 77 routes through two seasons but has made the most of his limited opportunities with 12 catches for 208 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. Hamstring and head injuries limited him to six games last year, and he took 67 of his 94 offensive snaps for the season during a Week 10 win over New Orleans. He'll compete with Brandon Powell and Trent Sherfield for the third receiver role in training camp.
Nailor recorded nine receptions for 147 yards and one touchdown on 13 targets in 15 games for Minnesota during his rookie campaign in 2022. He again projects as a depth receiver for the team.
Being a 2022 sixth-round pick gives Nailor less leeway as he navigates the pro ranks, but he's shown flashes of being an NFL receiver. The main problem is his size (5-11, 186), which inhibits what otherwise is decent athleticism (4.5-second 40-yard dash, 38-inch vertical, 128-inch broad jump). However, Nailor was a good player on a Michigan State offense with another NFL wide receiver (Jayden Reed). Nailor will vie with K.J. Osborn, Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Bisi Johnson for the third and fourth receiver jobs as a rookie.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Top-30 UFA per Popper
WRMinnesota Vikings
February 19, 2026
Nailor is ranked 29th among available free agents by Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Popper believes Nailor has the skill set to take a big step forward in a different environment, as the wide receiver dealt with poor quarterback play in 2025 with the Vikings while competing for targets with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Nailor still managed to post a career-high 444 receiving yards despite those factors working against him. He played primarily in the slot for Minnesota but has the skill set to shift outside on occasion as well.
