2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wicks' outlook improved this April when the Eagles traded fifth- and sixth-round picks to acquire him, but optimism faded two weeks later when Philadelphia drafted fellow wideout Makai Lemon in the first round. A.J. Brown is off to New England, leaving Wicks, Lemon and Hollywood Brown to jostle for playing time alongside new No. 1 receiver DeVonta Smith. Working in Wicks' favor is the one-year, $12.5 million extension he signed, keeping him under contract through 2027 with most of the money guaranteed. It's a steep price for someone who was largely a backup during three seasons in Green Bay, struggling with drops and never breaking through despite some promising early indicators like a high target rate. Wicks' per-route production dropped when his playing time rose, and he now finds himself in a crowded offense with a diverse group of weapons at RB, WR and TE. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Dealt to Philadelphia
The Eagles agreed to terms Friday on a trade to acquire Wicks (concussion) from Green Bay in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Wicks will reportedly ink a new one-year, $12.5 million contract with Philadelphia, providing him a substantial pay raise. The soon-to-be 25-year-old wideout doesn't necessarily face an easier path to playing time with his new team, though that could change if rumors surrounding A.J. Brown as a potential trade candidate do ultimately materialize this offseason. Per the current state of the Eagles' roster, all of Brown, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore and TE Dallas Goedert represent target competition for Wicks, who tallied just a 30-332-2 line across 14 regular-season appearances as a depth option for the Packers in 2025. Wicks appears to have gained full clearance from the concussion that forced him to miss the end of the 2025 campaign.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Wicks came in as a fifth-round pick last year and played 50-to-66 percent of snaps in Green Bay's first four games, before sliding back to the bench once 2022 second-rounder Christian Watson got healthy. Wicks had just six catches for 85 yards over those first four games, but he caught fire in his part-time role, hauling in 16 of 22 targets for 279 yards over a six-game stretch in which he never played more than 30 snaps. He became a starter again in December with Watson and fellow rookie Jayden Reed bothered by injuries, only to suffer a chest injury of his own in the process of making a TD catch Week 16. Wicks came back Week 18 and caught a pair of TD passes, giving him a 16-207-3 receiving line on 22 targets over his final four appearances of the regular season. He then split snaps with Watson in two playoff games and had 2-25-1 on four targets, while Romeo Doubs took the lead in Green Bay's passing game. Overall, Wicks' rookie season was a pleasant surprise given his 430-yard senior year at Virginia and 4.62 40 time at the 2023 Combine. On the other hand, he'd put up 1,203 yards and nine TDs as a junior, and his non-40 workout numbers were impressive, including a 39-inch vertical and 130-inch broad jump at 6-1, 206. Wicks is probably the most physical among Green Bay's group of talented young wideouts, but the target projection is tricky given that Watson, Doubs and Reed all were drafted earlier and also have made their respective cases as NFL starters. It might take an injury or two for Wicks to get the volume he deserves in a Green Bay offense that caught fire in the second half of last season with QB Jordan Love and HC Matt LaFleur firing on all cylinders.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Getting extra reps with Hurts
Wicks was more active in Wednesday's minicamp practice due to the absences of both DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Smith was excused from Wednesday's practice due to personal reasons and Lemon was sidelined by a lingering hamstring injury. That opened the door for Wicks to take on a larger role during team drills, and he made the most of his opportunity as Jalen Hurts' favorite target. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni relayed to reporters after practice that Wicks' route-running and flexibility around the formation reminded him of veteran Keenan Allen. The extra reps that Wicks is getting in minicamp could help him earn a prominent role in the Eagles' offense for the upcoming season, even when Smith and Lemon return.
