Senne Lynen

Lynen (personal) is not available for Saturday's clash against Heidenheim as he became a father on Friday for the second time, the club announced.

Lynen had one tackle (zero won), three clearances and two interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 victory against FC St. Pauli.

Lynen has extended his contract with Werder Bremen until 2029, the club announced. "Senne strongly identifies with Werder and the path we've taken here. He has clearly committed to this, and we're therefore very pleased that he has extended his contract with us. In his two years with us, Senne has not only developed into a key player on the pitch, but also plays an important role in the dressing room," Sporting Director Peter Niemeyer said.

Lynen made 32 starts but provided just a single assist during his second season in Bremen.

Lynen assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Union Berlin.
