Doing fine after ankle knock
MNice
February 9, 2026
Sanson was forced off late during Sunday's 0-0 draw in the derby against Monaco after suffering an ankle knock but didn't suffer any injury, according to France Bleu.
ANALYSIS
Sanson was unable to see out Sunday's derby against Monaco after taking an ankle knock in a collision with Krepin Diatta. Given his history of serious ankle issues a few years back, the situation has been closely monitored this week but the midfielder is fit moving forward. Sanson has been a regular starter since new coach Claude Puel took over and should regain that role on Sunday.
