Tresor suffered an ankle injury and is set to miss several weeks to recover, coach Scott Parker said in the press conference, according to Burnley Express. "I don't really want to put a time scale [on things], but it'll be a number of weeks. It's not something that needs surgery and we've gone another route here because there's an ankle issue, but the ankle's stable, so it's not something that needs surgery. He's gone through a procedure now where he's had a couple of injections and we're hoping [it won't be too long], but it'll still be a number of weeks."
ANALYSIS
Tresor received a couple of injections after suffering an ankle injury and will miss several weeks while recovering from the issue. This is a blow for the attacking midfielder since he was coming back from an extended period of absence and featured in four games off the bench for the Clarets. The Belgian will hope to recover in the coming weeks and see his ankle stabilize, as it will not require any surgery if it does, according to coach Scott Parker.
