Farfan underwent successful surgery to repair a navicular fracture on his right foot, the club reported Friday.
ANALYSIS
Farfan's return to action is expected to depend on his recovery progress, but he could be ruled out for at least two months due to this issue. The left-back has yet to make an appearance in 2026 after serving as a consistent starter throughout the Apertura campaign. His absence limits the Tigers' full-back options to Osvaldo Rodriguez, Jesus Garza and Vladimir Lorona at least until a new signing joins the team or Jesus Alberto Angulo (knee) recovers from his own issue.
