Real Madrid are ready to make a move for Fernandez during the summer transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Fernandez is one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world, and there's no doubt that he'd be an automatic starter at the Santiago Bernabeu outfit. Real Madrid have decent depth in midfield but they could use one more player who could be an upgrade defensively over the likes of Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz and Jude Bellingham.
