Chiasson lost to Ailin Perez via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson has had issues making weight multiple times in the past. She hit the 136-pound bantamweight limit with a pound to spare this time around, but it didn't help her cardio in the least, as Chiasson quickly gassed out after a strong opening round. To be fair, the only reason Macy won the first frame was because she managed a pair of reversals after being taken down. Overall, Chiasson allowed six takedowns and 7:36 worth of control time to Perez. She landed a grand total of four significant strikes over the course of the final 10 minutes. Set to turn 35 years old in late-July, Chiasson has lost three straight, all since last May. Her roster spot is most definitely in jeopardy.

Fight set for February
BantamweightUFC
December 14, 2025
Chiasson will fight Ailin Perez at UFC Mexico on Feb. 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson will look to bounce back from a pair of losses. She'll face off against Perez, who has rattled off five consecutive victories. Chiasson missed weight before her last fight, which makes the February bout significant to maintaining her roster spot.
Drops decision after weight miss
BantamweightUFC
October 4, 2025
Chiasson lost to Yana Santos via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 320 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's been a disastrous past 36 hours for Chiasson. She missed weight by 1.5 pounds Friday morning and had to forfeit 25 percent of her purse to Santos in order for the fight to proceed. She then took off the first two rounds before making a huge surge in Round 3. It ended up not being enough. Outside of a rear-naked choke attempt in the final minute-plus, Chiasson did next to nothing offensively. When you combine with the weight miss with a two-fight losing streak, Macy is probably looking at a must-win situation her next time out in order to save her roster spot.

October 3, 2025
Chiasson missed weight ahead her bout with Yana Santos, and the fight will proceed at a catchweight, per Alexander K. Lee of MMAFighting.com.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson weighed in at 137.5 pounds, which is 1.5 pounds over the limit. She'll forfeit 25 percent of her purse to Santos as a result, but the fight will continue as scheduled. Chiasson is looking for a bounce-back win after dropping her last bout in May.

July 19, 2025
Chiasson will fight Yana Santos at UFC 320 on Oct. 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The 5-foot-11 bantamweight will get her chance to bounce back after losing to Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision back in May. Chiasson is 3-3 in her last six UFC matches but 2-1 since 2024, and the veteran Santos is on a two-fight winning streak.
Grounded by Ketlen Vieira
BantamweightUFC
May 31, 2025
Chiasson lost to Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was originally scheduled to be a bantamweight fight but was switched to featherweight after Vieira had weight-cutting issues. When all was said and done, the switch really appeared to impact Chiasson because she had no answers for the size and brute strength of her opponent. Macy gave up 10:06 worth of control time and spent nearly the entirety of the final two rounds on her back. She simply just didn't generate enough offense to potentially win a decision. Set to turn 34 years old in late-July, this felt like a victory Chiasson -- who entered having won three of four -- had to have.
