Stoppage win in UFC debut
FeatherweightUFC
February 28, 2026
Reyes defeated Douglas Silva de Andrade via TKO (punches) at 4:59 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
Reyes has fought for countless promotions over the years, to mixed results. He got a shot on Dana White's Contender Series in September, a few weeks before his 32nd birthday, and turned a first-round knockout win into a UFC contract. He made his company debut here against a tenured veteran in Silva de Andrade and put forth another strong effort. Reyes survived an early knockdown before getting back on track and putting DSDA away with one second remaining in the opening round. Perhaps referee Herb Dean could have let the frame expire, but Reyes had his opponent in all sorts of trouble. Nothing in the Colombian's background suggests any sort of prolonged winning streak at this level will be forthcoming, but this was a nice start to his run with the company.

Reyes will fight Douglas Silva de Andrade at UFC Mexico on Feb. 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Reyes earned a UFC contract in September with his Contender Series victory over Justice Torres. Now sporting a 22-5 record as a professional fighter, Reyes' first test in the promotion will come from Silva de Andrade, who will be fighting for the first time since serving his six-month suspension and hasn't won a bout since May 2023. Reyes will also have a 4.5-inch reach advantage working in his favor.
Steamrolls way to contract

Reyes defeated Justice Torres via TKO (knees and punches) at 2:32 of Round 1 of Dana White's Contender Series on Tuesday. After the show, he was one of five fighters to be officially awarded a UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Reyes refused to be denied, stalking his opponent and throwing big shots until a punch to the body signaled the beginning of the end. The Colombian fighter has put in work to get to the UFC, amassing 27 fights in a career that began in 2014. This experience, along with his power and pressuring style, should serve him well in the featherweight division. Reyes improved to 22-5-0 in professional MMA as a result of the victory.
