Seth Jarvis

Jarvis had a solid rookie campaign, contributing 17 goals and 40 points in 68 contests in 2021-22 while averaging 13:53 of ice time. However, despite seeing a jump to 16:12 per game last season, his offensive production stayed flat with him recording 14 goals and 39 points in 82 outings. Of course, he's just 21 years old, so he shouldn't be judged too harshly for some growing pains. He still has plenty of upside and is being put in a position to succeed as part of Carolina's projected first line. Jarvis also had an encouraging showing in the 2023 playoffs, providing five goals and 10 points in 15 appearances, which might be a preview of things to come in the near future. Look at him as a decent breakout candidate, and give him serious consideration as a mid-to-late round pick in standard formats.

Jarvis suffered a concussion in Carolina's Game 7 loss to the Rangers in the second round of the playoffs and was still dealing with symptoms as of a few days later. If the health reports are fine, consider him a solid mid-to-late round pick.
