SLATE PREVIEW
Carolina (at NY Rangers), Tampa Bay (vs. Florida) and Washington (vs. Nashville) are the biggest favorites on the Moneyline. The Over/Under for Penguins-Sabres, Hurricanes-Rangers and Predators-Capitals is 6.5 goals. The Senators-Flyers and Panthers-Lightning matchups are expected to yield 6.0 goals, while the Islanders-Devils and Kings-Golden Knights contests are anticipated to produce 5.5 goals.
GOALIES
Andrei Vasilevskiy, TBL vs. FLA ($8,200): Vasilevskiy has won his last seven outings. During that span, he has turned aside 161 of the 173 shots he has faced for a .931 save percentage. He has a 2-0-0 record with a 1.50 GAA and a .939 save percentage against Florida this season.
Ilya Sorokin, NYI at NJD ($7,600): Sorokin has won four of his past six appearances, stopping 160 of 175 shots for a .914 save percentage. He has gone 2-0-0 against the Devils this campaign while allowing only two goals on 79 shots.
VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS
Nikita Kucherov, TBL vs. FLA ($9,900): Kucherov has amassed six goals, 17 assists and 29 shots on net during his nine-game point streak. He has seven multipoint efforts during that span, including consecutive contests with four points heading into Thursday night's action. Kucherov has two goals, one helper and 12 shots in three previous games against the Panthers this season.
Seth Jarvis, CAR at NYR ($6,800): Jarvis has four goals on 27 shots and 10 points in his last nine outings. He is riding a four-game point streak against the Rangers, lighting the lamp in each contest while adding two assists and 13 shots.
Tim Stutzle, OTT at PHI (6,600): Stutzle has five goals on 20 shots and four assists across his six-game point streak. He has 10 goals and 18 points in his previous 14 meetings with Philadelphia, including two tallies and five shots on target in two games this season.
Mathew Barzal, NYI at NJD ($6,400): Barzal has collected five goals, 17 shots and seven assists in his last nine outings. He has three goals and three helpers during a three-game point streak, and he has found the back of the net in five of the last six matches.
FORWARD LINE STACK
Capitals vs. Predators
Alex Ovechkin (W - $6,600), Dylan Strome (C - $5,800), Anthony Beauvillier (W - $3,000)
Ovechkin has chipped in two goals, six points and 31 shots in his last nine games. Strome wrapped up January with six goals and 12 points in 11 games, but he hasn't picked up a point in two outings to begin February. On the other hand, Beauvillier has two goals on four shots and one assist in the past two matches.
Washington's top line has plenty of "bang-for-the-buck" potential for Thursday's slate. Nashville is coming off a 6-5 overtime loss to Minnesota on Wednesday after defeating St. Louis on Monday in another 6-5 decision.
DEFENSEMEN
Taylor Raddysh, TBL vs. FLA ($6,700): Raddysh has registered five goals and four assists during a five-game point streak. He has three straight multipoint performances over that stretch, along with five blocked shots and 21 shots on net.
Rasmus Dahlin, BUF vs. PIT ($6,500): Dahlin has accounted for four goals, seven assists, 24 shots and five blocks across his six-game point streak. He has been held off the scoresheet once in the past 13 games, compiling seven goals and 18 points during that span.
