2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Pollard didn't get enough credit for how much he toughed it out in 2024, his first season with the Titans. The Tennessee offense was predictably dysfunctional with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph at quarterback, yet Pollard quickly established himself as the guy that Tennessee turned to when everything else was going wrong, which happened often. Tennessee's dependence on Pollard probably resulted in overwork, as he suffered a foot injury Week 8 and then took 31 touches Week 9 despite not practicing beforehand. It was at once valiant on Pollard's part yet a reminder that he probably isn't built to withstand such massive burdens over a long span of time. His 2024 production ultimately was similar to what he did in 2023, his final year in Dallas, taking on far more volume compared to pre-2023, but with TDs and big plays accounting for a much smaller portion of his touches. The guts Pollard demonstrated probably earned him even more locker room respect, to the point that he may enter 2025 as a workhorse even though the Titans have a promising backup in Tyjae Spears. If free-agent additions Dan Moore (left tackle) and Kevin Zeitler (right guard) improve Tennessee's offensive line, Pollard will be well positioned to build on last year's already-successful Titans debut. RANKS
Bright spot in offense
Pollard rushed the ball 10 times for 60 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Jaguars. He added one reception on two targets for three yards.
ANALYSIS
Pollard was the Titans' traditional lead back, totaling 10 carries compared to only one for Tyjae Spears. He was one of the few bright spots in the Tennessee offense, with three of his 10 carries going for double-digit yards. While Pollard ceded opportunity to Spears as a receiver, this was his highest yardage total on the ground since Week 5. Despite the positivity, Pollard is difficult to trust as a fantasy starter given the state of the Titans' offense.

Leaving Dallas for Tennessee might seem like a downgrade for Pollard, especially given how bare the Cowboys' depth chart is at running back, but last year showed that more volume doesn't always equate to increased production. Pollard's 2023 was one memorable refutation of the otherwise good general rule that added volume is beneficial for fantasy. He set career highs in carries (252) and targets (67), yet finished with slightly fewer yards and half as many touchdowns as he had on 193 carries and 55 targets the year prior. Keeping Pollard's workload around the 200-carry mark might be the best way to preserve his explosiveness, so sharing the Tennessee backfield with 2023 third-round pick Tyjae Spears isn't necessarily the worst thing. It does create some doubt about the nature of their respective roles, as neither is an obvious fit for goal-line/short-yardage work and both are above average as pass catchers. The Titans seemingly intend to abandon the run-heavy approach of past seasons after hiring former Bengals OC Brian Callahan as head coach and signing WRs Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to help second-year quarterback Will Levis. They also signed a new center, Lloyd Cushenberry, and drafted OT JC Latham seventh overall, potentially setting up Pollard and Spears with better blocking than Derrick Henry had in his final year with Tennessee. The biggest questions now are how work will be split between the two RBs and whether Levis is good enough to keep the remade offense moving.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Facing tough Browns run defense
Pollard is in for a tough battle Sunday against a Browns run defense that allows a league-best 31 percent success rate on opposing runs, Seth Walder of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Titans offense, in contrast, has just a 35 percent success rate on runs this season, which is third worst in the NFL. Pollard has operated as the Titans' workhorse back for most of the season, but he's averaging a career-low 3.9 yards per carry and has not rushed for more than 100 yards in a game this season. The lack of an effective rushing attack has made life more difficult in the passing game for rookie quarterback Cam Ward, who has been sacked a league-leading 48 times in 12 regular-season games.
