2024 Fantasy Outlook
In 43 games (40 starts) in four years at Rutgers, Melton was a general menace on defense and special teams alike, recording 114 tackles (nine for loss), eight interceptions among 22 pass defenses, four fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and four blocked punts. When combined with a 4.39 40 time at the 2024 Combine, it was enough for the Cardinals to select him in the second round of this year's draft, 43rd overall. Melton shouldn't have a problem getting on the field as a rookie on the outside, in the slot or on punt coverage.
