2025 Fantasy Outlook
Jackson had one of the most remarkable quarterback seasons ever last year. Unprecedented efficiency and a league-high rushing average were easily enough to make him fantasy’s No. 1 QB, even if it wasn’t enough for MVP voters. With 41 TD passes and four interceptions on 474 attempts, Jackson became the first QB with a TD pass percentage higher than 8.0 and an INT rate lower than 1.0 (min. 350 attempts). His 10.3 TD/INT ratio was third best all-time, and of the 22 times a QB has thrown 40-plus TDs in a season, Jackson had the fewest interceptions of any. His work with his legs was just as impressive. He averaged 6.6 yards per rush, the fourth time he’s paced the league, just missing 1,000 yards (915). The superlatives go on and on. YPA? Led the league. Air yards per attempt? Led the league (min. 300 attempts). Deep passing? He was the only QB without an interception on attempts of 20-plus yards (and had 8 TDs, 4th). Derrick Henry was no more costly at the goal line for Jackson (4 rush TD) than Gus Edwards was the year before. Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman were quality downfield weapons, and Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely formed a strong tight-end duo. All are back, giving Jackson a shot to repeat as fantasy’s top QB. He's finished Top 5 at the position three times (twice No. 1) in his four seasons with 15 or more starts. If healthy, there are few surer things in fantasy. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Ready for Week 14
Jackson (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Jackson was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an ankle issue that kept him out of drills entirely Thursday. He told Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com on Friday that he was stepped on by a teammate during Wednesday's session, but he's also feeling "pretty good," as evidenced by his ability to cap Week 14 with a full practice. Jackson thus will continue to direct the Ravens offense Sunday versus a Pittsburgh defense that has allowed the seventh-most passing yards (3,177) to opposing quarterbacks in 12 games this season.

Jackson stayed healthy last season for the first time in three years and, perhaps not surprisingly, won his second NFL MVP award. New offensive coordinator Todd Monken helped Jackson to a career-high 457 pass attempts in 16 games (he sat out a meaningless Week 18), which he combined with elite rushing production to finish fourth among QBs in fantasy scoring. His downfield rate, average target depth and accuracy were basically unchanged from the last few years, but Jackson got more help from his receivers, whose 3.7 percent drop rate and 49.0 yards-after-catch percentage were the best he’s had. That propelled his completion percentage (67.2, 8th) and YPA (8.0, 4th) to career highs, which he turned into 3,678 yards, also a career high. He only threw 24 TD passes, but a league-leading 5.6 rushing average that resulted in a QB-high 821 yards and five scores more than made up for it. His TD total was depressed a bit thanks to Gus Edwards’ 13 scores (3rd among RBs). That perhaps gives Jackson TD upside this year, even with Derrick Henry replacing Edwards in the Baltimore backfield. Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews are top-notch targets, and if Rashod Bateman or another receiver emerges, so much the better. He might not win MVP again, but as long as Jackson stays healthy he’s a top-5 fantasy QB.

Likely to play through ankle injury
Offensive coordinator Todd Monken said Thursday that he expects Jackson to play through an ankle injury Sunday against the Steelers, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Jackson didn't practice Thursday after opening Week 14 prep with a limited session Wednesday, but Baltimore's starting quarterback is expected to be available Sunday. Monken's assertion would be supported if Jackson practices Friday. Jackson hasn't scored a rushing touchdown since Week 1 and has just one touchdown pass in his last four starts, as the star quarterback has struggled while operating at less than 100 percent physically.
