Porter has established himself as a strong corner over his first two professional seasons, and he should retain a starting job as an outside cornerback in 2025, even after the Steelers brought in Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey. Porter played at least 95 percent of Pittsburgh's defensive snaps in 15 of his 16 regular-season appearances last year and logged 70 tackles (53 solo), an interception and seven pass defenses. ANALYSIS
Porter was able to upgrade to a full participant Friday, just a day after sustaining an elbow injury. The starting cornerback is set to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup alongside fellow starter James Pierre, who was also cleared of injury designation. With both outside corners healthy, it remains to be seen how the Steelers plan to use recently acquired Asante Samuel.
