Hunt was selected in the third round of the 2024 Draft and barely featured in the first half of his rookie season, playing just 17 defensive snaps through Week 9. He earned a much larger role down the stretch, finishing with 21 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. His increased role continued into the playoffs, in which he added 10 more tackles and 1.5 more sacks.
