2025 Fantasy Outlook
Fannin was drafted in the third round, 67th overall, by the Browns after posting video-game numbers at Bowling Green in 2024. He produced 117 catches for 1,555 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games while adding nine rushing attempts for 65 yards and one touchdown for good measure. The 6-foot-3, 241-pound TE is on the small side for his position, so it’s concerning that he ran the 40-yard dash in an unimpressive 4.71 seconds. He has excellent hands and a natural feel for both getting open and wreaking havoc with the ball in his hands, but Fannin will need to prove that he has not only enough blocking acumen to earn a prominent role but also enough athleticism to beat NFL defenders, who will present a massive increase in difficulty compared to the defenses he faced in the Mid-American Conference. Fannin’s unlikely to challenge David Njoku for the starting role right away, but the rookie has plenty of long-term upside and could step up in 2025 if the oft-injured Njoku misses any action. Won't play in Week 18
Fannin (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's season finale against the Bengals, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With David Njoku (knee/personal) also having been ruled out, Blake Whiteheart and Brenden Bates, along with potentially practice-squad member Sal Cannella, are slated to handle Cleveland's tight end duties Week 18. Fannin thus finishes his impressive rookie campaign with a team-high 72 catches (on 107 targets) for 731 yards and six TDs in 16 regular-season contests. Looking ahead, the 2025 third-rounder is a big part of the Browns' future and thus is in line to maintain fantasy utility next season, regardless of the inevitable personnel changes that are looming for the currently 4-12 team this coming offseason.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
To be 'full go' vs. Steelers
Fannin, who's listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against the Steelers due to a groin injury, is described as a "full go" for the game by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
The rookie suffered the injury in Friday's practice, leading to limited participation in that day's session. However, the issue apparently won't lead to the first absence of Fannin's nascent NFL career. Position mate David Njoku will remain sidelined due to his knee injury Sunday, making it likely Fannin continues to be peppered with passes from Shedeur Sanders after averaging 8.4 targets over the latter's first five career starts.
