25-Year-Old SafetyS
New York Giants
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Belton has been a reliable depth option for the Giants through three NFL campaigns, playing in 49 of 51 possible regular-season games. He's tallied five interceptions while making 13 starts in his career and has also served as a core special-teamer. The Giants' offseason acquisition of Jevon Holland to start alongside Tyler Nubin at safety means that Belton likely will be locked into a rotational role on defense again in 2025. Read Past Outlooks

Belton logged seven tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Giants' loss versus the Patriots on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Belton continues to be one of the team's few bright spots on defense, as he's now tallied seven or more tackles in three straight games and eight times total this season. The 2022 fourth-round pick also managed to record his first sack of the campaign during the loss.

2023
Belton's opportunities to play have been sporadic over his first two NFL campaigns, but he has a chance to move into a starting role in 2024 with Xavier McKinney off to Green Bay. Rookie second-round pick Tyler Nubin represents Belton's stiffest competition for the assignment, and the outcome may not be decided until close to Week 1 of the regular season. Belton hasn't been the surest tackler thus far as a pro, but he's shown good ballhawking ability with four pickoffs despite logging well under half of New York's defensive snaps.
Belton got an opportunity to start as a rookie when Xavier McKinney broke his hand during the Giants' bye week, but he struggled in two games before being replaced by Jason Pinnock. Belton ended the campaign with 31 tackles, three pass defenses and two interceptions, with his playing time dwindling after Week 12. Julian Love's exit should prompt a training-camp battle between Belton, Pinnock and newcomer Bobby McCain for a starting safety spot, though New York could opt to take a committee approach.

Stands out in spring
SNew York Giants
July 6, 2025
Belton excelled in spring practices and looks poised to play a significant role on defense despite the offseason addition of Jevon Holland, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Belton had three interceptions in the five practices open to the media. Even if he fails to beat out Holland or Tyler Nubin for a starting safety spot, Belton will likely earn a role in certain packages that call for extra defensive backs as the Giants' third safety.
