Michael Wilson

25-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
Arizona Cardinals
2025 Fantasy Outlook
A 2023 third-round pick who ran a 4.58 40 at 6-foot-2, 213 pounds, Wilson is shaping up as Arizona's version of Darius Slayton -- good enough to keep a starting job, but not good enough to prevent discussion of replacing him. Wilson dropped from 14.9 yards per catch as a rookie to 11.7 in 2024, but there wasn't much change in his peripheral stats, and the overall production ended up being similar thanks to staying healthy for all 17 games. The Cardinals then declined to add serious target/snap competition in the offseason, apparently content to start a lightly targeted player like Wilson in an offense where WR Marvin Harrison and TE Trey McBride figure to account for at least half of the volume and production. A Year 3 breakout for Wilson isn't impossible, but it would probably look something like 800 yards and 5-6 TDs, still leaving him short of mainstream fantasy value as anything other than a bye-week replacement. ANALYSIS
WR Marvin Harrison was officially placed on IR after reinjuring his heel in Week 17, affording Wilson the opportunity to ball out in his teammate's absence like he already had on multiple occasions this season. The 25-year-old Wilson experienced a true breakout campaign after reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his three-year career. A significant portion of Stanford product's 78-1,006-7 line came in games that either QB Jacoby Brissett started or Harrison missed due to injury, so Wilson's 2026 outlook will hinge greatly on how committed the franchise will remain to the underperforming duo of Harrison and Kyler Murray. Wilson will enter next season playing on the fourth year of what now feels like an undervalued rookie contract.

2024
2023
A 2023 third-round pick, Wilson earned a starting job right away amidst a thin Arizona receiving group. Despite playing the first half of the year with backup quarterbacks, Wilson averaged 50 receiving yards a game. A Week 8 shoulder injury cost him four of the next five games and he wasn't right until late in the year. By that time Kyler Murray was back from his ACL injury and the QB and WR clicked, with Wilson catching 10 of 12 targets for 130 yards and a TD in the final two games. The Cardinals added Marvin Harrison with the fourth overall pick in the draft and then signed 6-2 Zay Jones in May. That probably leaves Wilson as the No. 3 WR with an opportunity to continue playing a lot of snaps in a possession role. Target volume is a bigger question, as Murray really honed in on TE Trey McBride last year and also seems to like slot man Greg Dortch. And while Wilson produced 9.7 YPT last year, he drew targets on only 14.7 percent of his routes -- a similar rate as players like DJ Chark, Darnell Mooney and Jahan Dotson.
The Cardinals opted to use the second of their third-round picks in the 2023 Draft on Wilson, and with DeAndre Hopkins no longer on the team, the rookie will have a chance to carve out a role quickly alongside fellow wideouts Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch. Wilson was afflicted by injuries more often than not during his five years at Stanford, recording 134 catches at a clip of 12.4 yards in 36 contests, but if he can stay healthy this season, he should be able to use his 6-2, 213-pound stature on boundary targets at the very least.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Back to No. 1 receiver role Sunday
WRArizona Cardinals
December 31, 2025
Wilson will serve as the Cardinals' No. 1 receiver for Sunday's Week 18 regular-season finale against the Rams due to Marvin Harrison having been ruled out because of a foot injury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Harrison suffered the injury in the Week 17 loss to the Bengals, exiting after just 19 snaps. Wilson logged double-digit targets yet again against Cincinnati with Harrison sidelined for most of the game, with the volume unsurprising considering he averaged 15 targets across his position mate's four full absences in Weeks 11-12 and Weeks 14-15.
