Burries pulled down a season-high 12 boards while adding 20 points, the 10th time this season he's reached that total, to help Arizona gain a measure of revenge against the Jayhawks. It was the third double double of the season for the freshman wing, who also added five assists to round out one of his best performances of the season. Burries had endured a recent three-game stretch in which he had shot just 9-for-30 (30.0-percent) but has rebounded nicely over the last two, connecting on 14-of-23 (60.9-percent) while totaling 24 and 20 points respectively.
