Minott is set to enter his third season with the Timberwolves, but if his involvement across the first two years in the league are of any indication, he shouldn't have a prominent role in Minnesota's rotation. Minott made 32 appearances off the bench in the 2023-24 regular season, and while that was a marked improvement compared to the 15 games in which he featured in as a rookie, Minott only averaged 2.8 minutes per game in his second year in The Association. Minott's role is not expected to increase in 2024-25, so fantasy managers shouldn't consider drafting him -- not even in the deepest dynasty formats.

Brian Robb of Mass Live said in his mailbag column Friday that Minott could "get a big chance early."

"He checks a box as a defensive-minded wing with athleticism that provided some encouraging glimpses in brief stints in Minnesota over the last few years," Robb said. "If he can outshine Jordan Walsh in training camp, it's easy to envision him getting regular minutes off the bench, and he could even be a sleeper candidate to start, depending on how Joe Mazzulla constructs the rotation." With Boston's rotation so wide open, training camp will be fascinating to monitor from a fantasy standpoint.
