Elite NBA DFS Players
Guards
Cade Cunningham, Pistons
($10,200) vs. Wizards
Cunningham is listed as questionable for the front end of this back-to-back set due to right wrist injury management, though he'll have an extremely favorable matchup if he's cleared to suit up. The star point guard racked up 96.0 DK points in a win over Washington on Nov. 10. Cunningham's status will be worth monitoring ahead of tipoff at 7:00 p.m. ET, and if he's ultimately ruled out, Daniss Jenkins ($4,000) will be a solid value play.
Brandon Ingram, Raptors
($8,100) vs. Bulls
The Bulls will be without several key contributors in this one, providing Ingram with a favorable matchup. The 28-year-old swingman has tallied 42.0 or more DK points in three of his last four outings, during which he has averaged 26.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.1 combined steals-plus-blocks in 34.8 minutes per contest.
Forwards/Centers
Victor Wembanyama, Spurs
($10,000) at Mavericks
Wembanyama and the Spurs are on the second leg of a back-to-back set and will take on a shorthanded Dallas squad. The superstar big man has produced at least 45.0 DK points in five of his last six games, during which he has averaged 22.2 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.0 minutes per tilt. In a blowout win over Dallas in the regular-season opener, Wembanyama erupted for 70.3 DK points.
Paolo Banchero, Magic
($9,300) vs. Nets
Banchero has consistently put up strong numbers of late, finishing with 36.8-plus DK points in 11 of his last 12 appearances. The star forward has averaged 23.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest during that span, and he'll have a strong chance to remain productive against the Nets.
Cooper Flagg, Mavericks
($8,700) vs. Spurs
Flagg has been on fire recently, posting 38.3 or more DK points in five straight appearances and at least 59.5 in each of his last three. During that five-game span, the rookie has averaged an impressive 31.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.4 combined steals-plus-blocks per contest.
Expected NBA DFS Chalk
Jalen Johnson, Hawks
($10,500) vs. Jazz
Johnson will have a prime opportunity to stuff the stat sheet against a lackluster Jazz defense Thursday. The star forward has closed with 41.3-plus DK points in seven straight outings, averaging 25.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.1 steals across 36.9 minutes per game during that span.
Mid-Range NBA DFS Picks
Jalen Smith, Bulls
($6,200) at Raptors
After missing two consecutive contests due to a calf issue, Smith operated under a 20-minute limit in Tuesday's loss to Milwaukee. However, he could see his minutes increase Thursday, especially considering Lachlan Olbrich is Chicago's only other healthy center. Smith has supplied at least 24.3 DK points in 10 of his last 11 appearances, during which he has averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers and 1.3 assists while shooting 48.1 percent from deep in 27.0 minutes per game.
Jalen Suggs, Magic
($6,000) vs. Nets
Suggs has posted inconsistent scoring numbers of late, but he enters a favorable matchup against Brooklyn. The 24-year-old point guard has notched at least 23.8 DK points in five straight games, averaging 11.8 points, 6.4 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 29.2 minutes per tilt during that stretch.
NBA DFS Value Picks
Will Riley, Wizards
($4,700) at Pistons
The Wizards are rolling out a loaded injury report following their massive trade for Anthony Davis (finger), meaning Riley will likely continue to see increased playing time. The rookie first-rounder has logged 25-plus minutes in three straight games, generating 26.0 or more DK points in each of them. During that span, the 19-year-old forward has averaged 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals across 26.7 minutes per tilt.
Patrick Williams, Bulls
($4,100) at Raptors
The Bulls are set to be extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt following a busy stretch leading up to the trade deadline. Williams should see a sizable workload once again and has posted 25.5-plus DK points in three straight games, averaging 13.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks across 29.7 minutes per contest during that span.
Nolan Traore, Nets
($3,700) at Magic
Traore has started four straight games and should continue to see an increased role as Brooklyn focuses on its youth movement. The rookie first-rounder has recorded 18.8 or more DK points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 9.8 points, 3.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks across 27.0 minutes per contest over that stretch.
