Despite an ability to put up numbers across multiple categories, Konchar struggled to carve out a consistent role during the 2024-25 season. Across 46 games, he put up just 2.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 12.1 minutes per game. While the removal of Desmond Bane will have an impact on Konchar's opportunities, the addition of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cedric Coward could basically offset any uptick in playing time he may have been expecting. It's easy to say that injuries to other players could open up the door for Konchar. However, injuries have been a common theme in Memphis over the past two years, and to date, Konchar has struggled to capitalize on this opportunity. Look for him to play limited minutes off the bench, if and when required. Read Past Outlooks

Season-high 13 points in defeat
FMemphis Grizzlies
December 3, 2025
Konchar finished with 13 points (5-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 18 minutes during Tuesday's 126-119 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS Konchar scored a season-high 13 points, reaching double figures for the first time in 2025-26 altogether. The forward has averaged 3.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 12.7 minutes per contest over 20 games this season, so his fantasy appeal has been minimal thus far.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
2021
While Konchar did manage to put together his best season in the NBA during the 2022-23 campaign, he remains well off the pace when it comes to consistent fantasy value. He ended as the 175th-ranked player in standard formats, averaging 5.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 20.7 minutes per game. He does provide solid rebound numbers from the wing position, as well as serviceable defensive production. Unfortunately, he would need upwards of 28 minutes per night to put himself on the fantasy radar. Barring injuries to multiple players, that seems like nothing more than fantasy itself.
Despite flashing a small amount of upside throughout his third season in the NBA, Konchar remains on the outside looking in regarding relevant production. Playing 18 minutes per night, Konchar put up career-high numbers across the board but didn't have a tangible fantasy impact. While he does possess a somewhat fantasy-friendly skillset, Konchar would need a lot to go his way should he hope to be anything more than a role player. He'll be in the rotation, but his role is far too insignificant to warrant fantasy attention at this stage.
In his second NBA season, Konchar averaged 4.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 13.4 minutes per game. These were minor improvements over his rookie season, but the ending to his 2020-21 campaign was very promising. He scored in double figures in three of his final six regular season games. The 25-year-old is likely to fill a similar role off the bench this season; however, he will now also be competing for minutes with rookie tenth-overall pick Zaire Williams, which could slightly impact his development. Konchar is not expected to be worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.

ANALYSIS The Grizzlies recently traded Desmond Bane to Orlando in exchange for a plethora of draft picks, all in an effort to clear up some cap space to extend Jaren Jackson. With the Grizzlies looking to continue that objective, Konchar is viewed as expendable. Konchar, who averaged 2.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 12.1 minutes across 44 regular-season appearances in 2024-25, has two years and a combined $12.3 million left on the books.
