Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to sign standard contract
The Pistons plan to promote Jenkins to a standard contract over the weekend, according to Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins reportedly rejected a two-year, minimum-salary offer near the end of January, but since he hit his 50-game limit Friday against the Knicks, promoting him to a new deal is the only way to keep him active on the roster. Jenkins has been one of the biggest surprises among two-way players in 2025-26 and has earned the right to sign a standard deal while playing well for one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
