Sims couldn't find much of a role during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, but her playing time increased in 2024 while suiting up for the Wings and Sparks. She made nine appearances (seven starts) while on a hardship deal with Dallas, averaging 17.2 points, 5.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 33.9 minutes per game, but her role declined once she joined the Sparks, as she averaged 9.8 points and 5.1 assists in 26.3 minutes per game over 15 appearances (10 starts) with the team. Her efforts were enough to earn her a one-year deal with Los Angeles during the offseason, but she may not see consistent scoring chances after the Sparks traded for Kelsey Plum. Sims supplied 27 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 12-13 FT), six assists, two rebounds and one steal across 41 minutes in Tuesday's 107-98 Game 5 overtime loss to the Aces.
ANALYSIS
Sims led the Fever in scoring, with 14 of her 27 points coming in the fourth quarter and overtime. She also dished out a team-high mark in assists. The veteran guard signed three seven-day hardship contracts with the injury-plagued Fever before securing a rest-of-season contract, and she played a key role in their playoff run, posting at least 16 points in five of her eight appearances. Over 12 regular-season appearances with Indiana in 2025, Sims averaged 10.3 points and 4.0 assists across 26.4 minutes per game. She's now set to enter free agency ahead of the 2026 campaign.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Although Sims appeared in 28 games last year after making just seven appearances in 2022, she didn't have a consistent role for Dallas. The 31-year-old averaged 2.0 points and 2.2 assists in 12.0 minutes per game, and it's unclear whether she'll land a contract with a team ahead of the 2024 campaign. Sims has proven to have the talent to be a solid fantasy contributor earlier in his career, but she's been inconsistent when on the court over the past two seasons and is unlikely to be a season-long fantasy asset in 2024.
