After posting a tough five-set win in his debut, Mensik had an easier time with the No. 150-ranked Spanish qualifier as he moved through in straight sets to reach the third round after one hour and 59 minutes on court. The No. 16 seed from Czechia has not yet made it past the third round at any major so far in his young career. Mensik will play either Hubert Hurkacz (0-2 H2H) or Ethan Quinn (2-0 H2H) in the third round here.
