Cheddira has departed Sassuolo and joined Lecce on loan with an option to buy from Napoli.

Cheddira almost exclusively appeared off the bench, scoring once in 16 outings (one start), adding eight shots (two on target), three chances created and four crosses (two accurate). He'll back up and compete with Nikola Stulic, as Francesco Camarda (shoulder) is poised to miss more time.
