Pedri provided one assist but was forced to leave Wednesday's game against Slavia Prague due to an apparent muscular problem.

Pedri succumbed to a pain and was replaced by Dani Olmo after 61 minutes of play in the UCL week seven match. The key midfielder, who had set up a goal before getting hurt, will need to be assessed prior to upcoming contests. He was already sidelined due to a muscle strain in November but made six starts since recovering from that issue. Losing him would be a massive blow to the squad, who would likely rely more on Olmo, Frenkie de Jong and Fermin in that case.
