Nuno Mendes Injury: Rested against Auxerre

Mendes (rest) won't be available for Friday's clash against Auxerre and will work indoors this weekend ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash against Newcastle, the club announced.

Mendes will be rested for Friday's clash against Auxerre with the aim to be ready for Wednesday's clash against Newcastle in the Champions League. The left-back isn't suffering from a major issue but will work indoors over the weekend to be fit against the Magpies. Lucas Hernandez is expected to take his spot in defense against the AJA.
