Mohamed Bamba Injury: Doubtful for derby

Bamba (knee) is a doubt for Saturday's derby against Rennes, coach Olivier Pantaloni said in the press conference, according to Le Telegramme. "Mo suffered a knee injury. He received treatment yesterday and was feeling better, but we preferred to keep him with the physiotherapist in the gym so he could participate in the pre-match training session on Friday."

Bamba suffered a knee injury in training this week and is a doubt for Saturday's derby against Rennes. The forward is expected to participate in the final training session on Friday after missing Thursday's session and will likely be assessed after the effort. Bamba was mainly a bench option this season for Lorient, therefore a potential absence won't have a major impact on the starting XI.
