Lucas Bergvall Injury: Undergoes ankle surgery

Bergvall (ankle) underwent surgery Friday and will be out for the foreseeable future.

The 19-year-old suffered a high ankle sprain in Tuesday's win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League and will begin rehabilitation with the club's medical staff. Bergvall is expected to miss between two to three months, meaning the door is still open for him to return to action before the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
