Dan Burn Injury: Could return Sunday

Burn (ribs) could return in Sunday's clash against Aston Villa after training with the squad for the first time on Friday, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference, according to Charlie Bennett from NewcastleWorld. "With Dan, he is out (training) with the players. Today is the first day he is training fully with the group. That will be key for him and he is desperate to be involved."

Burn is very close from making his return from a fractured rib suffered against the Black Cats at the end of last year and is expected to train fully with the squad for the first time on Friday. This session will determine if he will be able to make the squad for Sunday's clash against the Villains. If deemed fit for the game, Burn is expected to resume his starting role in the backline of the Magpies.
