Bruno Guimaraes Injury: Could be available Sunday
Guimaraes (ankle) could be an option for Sunday's clash against Aston Villa since the club will give him every chance to be fit for the game, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "We hope it is not serious; extent of the injury is still unknown, he was reasonably positive after the game, he is the guy that will never rule anything out, we are going to give him every chance for this weekend. We will try and make the right decision with Bruno; he is a pivotal player."
Guimaraes suffered an ankle injury during Wednesday's victory against PSV in the Champions League and will be a late fitness call for Sunday's clash against Aston Villa. The midfielder was positive about his issue after the UCL game and will get every chance to be back available against the Villains. That said, if he had to ultimately miss the clash, Lewis Miley and Joe Willock will be the two available options to replace him in the heart of the game for the Magpies.
