Matz Sels

Nottingham Forest's home fixture against Sunderland looks promising, especially with Sunderland's struggles in front of goal. Sels is generally reliable for save points, and among Forest's defensive options, he stands out as the most appealing choice this week. 

According to the RotoWire Cheat Sheet, Forest have the fourth-best odds for a clean sheet in GW6.

Top Defenders for a Free Hit XI

James Tarkowski

Tarkowski is a defensive-contributions machine, registering returns in all five games. This matchup also plays into his strengths. West Ham have conceded the most xG from set plays, while Everton rank second best for generating xG from them. Tarkowski could easily combine defensive returns with an attacking threat at home against a struggling side.

Josko Gvardiol

Manchester City's defence is highly desirable this week, and Gvardiol is the most secure starter. Bookmakers give City better than a 50-percent chance of a clean sheet against Burnley, which is one of the better numbers you'll see this season.

Pedro Porro

Tottenham's clean sheet odds are second only to City's, just above 40 percent, and Wolves have looked blunt in attack. Porro also brings attacking potential with a share of set pieces and license to get forward, giving him multiple routes to points.

Midfield Must-Haves on a GW6 Free Hit

Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes is a near-essential pick. Already boasting two double-digit hauls, he's nailed on for 90 minutes, takes penalties, and controls set pieces. In certain matchups, he's also in play for two DEFCON points. Bruno's output consistently transcends United's form.

Antoine Semenyo

Semenyo has been breakout star of the FPL season, sitting just behind Haaland for total FPL points. A favourable fixture against Leeds adds to his appeal, with penalties and guaranteed minutes making him a reliable option.

Iliman Ndiaye

Ndiaye offers excellent value at home against a struggling West Ham side. Secure minutes, potential penalty duties, and defensive contributions give him multiple ways to score points. Slightly cheaper than teammate Jack Grealish and seemingly a bigger threat to score, he fits the upside role a bit better.

Tijjani Reijnders

Burnley have conceded the most xG in the league this season, which sets up perfectly for City attackers. Reijnders provides an affordable route into their attack and balances the squad financially. Through six matches including Champions League, Reijnders already has 14 shots (five on target) and eight chances created.

Forwards to Build Around in GW6

Erling Haaland

In irresistible form and the standout captain this week at home to Burnley, Haaland is an automatic inclusion. For a one-week team, it'll be hard to fade Haaland with -240 odds to score.

Joao Pedro

With Liam Delap injured, Nicolas Jackson gone, and Cole Palmer also a doubt, Pedro looks likely to become Chelsea's main man. His ability to play multiple positions also keeps him on the pitch more than the Chelsea wingers or other forwards.

Richarlison

Spurs attackers are highly desirable against a Wolves defence that has conceded the second-highest number of goals this season. Richarlison is a great differential since most people are looking more toward Man City options this week. He's affordable, certain to start and is potentially on penalties.
