New opponent scheduled
Luciano is scheduled to compete against Alexia Thainara in a strawweight fight at UFC Seattle on March 28, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Foro up next
Luciano will fight Carol Foro at UFC Seattle on March 28, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
A win over Ravena Oliveira in October allowed Luciano to finish 2025 1-1, putting her at 2-1 in her UFC career. She'll now fill in for Nicolle Caliari (undisclosed) to fight Foro, who will take a 9-1 professional record into her UFC debut.

Gets right back in win column
Luciano defeated Ravena Oliveira via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:50 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
Luciano was very competitive in a split decision loss to Sam Hughes in March. The company gave her a layup here against Oliveira, and she took full advantage. Stephanie kept things simply and didn't take many chances, knowing she had her opponent outclassed most everywhere. She won nearly all the striking exchanges and chipped in three takedowns for good measure. Luciano was well on her way to winning a decision before finding the submission midway through Round 3. The Brazilian won't turn 26 years of age until mid-December and has one of the higher ceilings in the 115-pound female division.

Next fight booked
Luciano will fight Ravena Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 262 in Vancouver on October 18, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Luciano aims to bounce back after losing her latest bout via split decision in March. Her opponent was due to face Shauna Bannon in late July but withdrew earlier this week for unknown reasons. Some additional time will allow for these two competitors to meet, both hungry to make a name for themselves in the UFC.

Drops split decision in Vegas
Luciano lost to Sam Hughes via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 27-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Luciano had no issues in her UFC debut against Talita Alencar last August but found things much more difficult here against Hughes despite entering as a -165 favorite. Perhaps you could really squint and say the Brazilian deserved both the first and final frames, but Hughes completely dominated in Round 2, and it's likely she was the more effective fighter in Round 1, as well. The good news for Luciano is that she won't be turning 26 years of age until this coming December, so there's plenty of time for her to make improvements moving forward.
