Spivac will face Ante Delija at UFC Houston on February 21, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

The fight was previously scheduled for UFC 325 on January 31, but will now take place in late February in Houston. The 30-year-old Moldovan fighter will look to bounce back from a stretch of back-to-back losses in 2025 when he takes on the older Croatian.

He won't stay on the shelf for long, however, and instead draw Delija, who is 1-1 in two UFC fights. It's a reasonable opponent for Spivac, who will likely look to lean on his wrestling to bounce back from his current two-fight losing streak. Both men measure up identically in terms of height and reach.

Serghei was the clearly better man in Round 1 before his output and effectiveness dipped in Round 2. With the fight seemingly hanging in the balance in Round 3, Spivac landed the bigger shots and one huge takedown. Of course, none of this mattered because none of the three judges awarded him the first frame. Spivac has now lost three of four dating back to September 2023.
