Falls to 1-5 in past six fights

Osbourne lost to Alibi Idiris via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Houston.
ANALYSIS
Entering have lost four of five and almost certainly fighting for his job, Osbourne didn't do enough to win. It's as simple as that. He had his moments, all of which came on the feet, but every single time he began to gain some momentum, Idiris shot a takedown and dragged him to the mat. Ode defended well on the ground, but all the control time he allowed to his opponent limited his ability to generate any consistent offense of his own. It's very difficult to see any path forward for a 34-year-old that has struggled as badly as Osbourne has in recent years.

Fighting at UFC Houston
FlyweightUFC
December 14, 2025
Osbourne will take on Alibi Idiris in a flyweight matchup at UFC Houston on Feb. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne has lost four of his last five, but he was at least competitive in a loss to former title challenger Steve Erceg in August. He now draws Idiris, who is 11-1 as a pro after dropping his UFC debut to Joseph Morales in August. Osbourne will enter with a slight height and five-iinch reach advantage.
Outworked after fast start

August 10, 2025
Osbourne lost to Steve Erceg via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne entered this fight as the physically bigger man and appeared noticeably quicker in the first round, landing multiple big shots on Erceg and putting him in serious trouble. He couldn't get the former title contender out of there, however, and was out-pointed over the final 10 minutes, which saw very little action. Osbourne had a huge opportunity here to take this fight on short notice against a ranked opponent, but he ultimately fell to 1-4 in his last five fights. He'll have plenty of leeway due to his willingness to "save" this fight, but sooner or later, the results have to start matchup up with the potential.
Taking on Erceg
FlyweightUFC
July 28, 2025
Osbourne will take on Steve Erceg in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas 109 on August 9, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne just picked up a crucial win against Luis Gurule in April to bring his UFC record to 5-6. Now, Erceg is who stands between him and a .500 mark in the promotion. Erceg himself is in desperate need of a win after losing three straight bouts, most recently falling to Brandon Moreno.
Snaps losing streak at three
FlyweightUFC
April 5, 2025
Osbourne defeated Luis Gurule via TKO (punches) at 1:54 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne has some talent, but he tends to do reckless things inside the Octagon, and that makes him one of the least trustworthy guys in the entire promotion. That said, he has some pop in his hands and is capable of an impressive performance like this one every once in a while. Ode didn't have much going on, but he clipped Gurule with a sweeping left hook and finished him off with some follow-up shots. The win snapped a three-fight losing streak for the 33-year-old Wisconsin native who would have certainly been looking at a release with another setback. Instead, he'll walk away with one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening.
Booked versus Gurule
FlyweightUFC
January 23, 2025
Osbourne will fight Luis Gurule at UFC Vegas 105 on April 5, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Osbourne, who has lost his last three fights and has not won since February of 2023, will look to get back on track versus the newcomer. Gurule has yet to lose a fight in his career but Osbourne has a significant in reach and height. It's been a rough past couple years in the octagon for Osbourne, but he has a chance to get back on track in April.
