Naimov lost to Mairon Santos via TKO (punches) at 0:21 of Round 3 at UFC 323 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Naimov was on his way to dropping a decision, having lost each of the first two rounds, prior to being finished. He was able to get absolutely nothing going offensively, failing on all five of his takedown attempts and not landing a single notable strike. The lone bit of good news for Naimov is that he will pick up 20 percent of Santos' purse after the Brazilian missed weight by 1.5 pounds on Friday morning. Naimov sees a brief two-fight winning streak snapped with the setback.

Naimov is scheduled to compete against Mairon Santos in a catchweight fight at UFC 323 on Saturday, per Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes.
ANALYSIS
Naimov's opponent missed weight for the pay-per-view, but Naimov will get 20 percent of the former's purse, and their fight will go on as scheduled. Naimov will look to go 3-0 in 2025 by defeating Santos.

October 15, 2025
Naimov will fight Mairon Santos at UFC 323 on Dec. 6, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Naimov took down Bogdan Grad in June to improve to 2-0 in 2025, and he'll now aim to secure the hat trick against Santos. That may be easier said than done, however, as Santos has yet to take a loss three fights into his UFC career and will have a two-inch reach advantage over Naimov.
Improves to 5-1 with UFC
FeatherweightUFC
June 21, 2025
Naimov defeated Bogdan Grad via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Baku, Azerbaijan.
ANALYSIS
It was clear from the very start that there was little separating these two. Both men struggled to land any meaningful offense for the duration of the bout. Naimov did a nice job of staying upright, stuffing 7-of-10 takedown attempts from Grad, but he was unable to get his own grappling game going until it was most needed. With the fight tied at a round apiece and the result hanging in the balance, Naimov found a takedown in the final frame and racked up enough control time to ensure he would take the decision. He's quietly won five of six fights since making his company debut back in June 2023.
Fighting Grad in June

May 15, 2025
Naimov will take on Bogdan Grad at UFC Baku on June 21, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Naimov will head into the bout coming off a decision victory over Kaan Ofli in February. The 5-foot-9 fighter from Tajikistan will take a slight height advantage into the fight over the younger Grad. With a perfect 5-0 professional record in KO/TKO finishes, Naimov will likely be looking to use his stopping power to end this one early, though Grad's power is nothing to scoff at, with the Romanian boasting an impressive 9-1 record in such finishes.
Gets right back in win column
FeatherweightUFC
February 1, 2025
Naimov defeated Kaan Ofli via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
ANALYSIS
This was not an overwhelming, dominant performance from Naimov, but he needed a win any way he could get it following a submission loss to Felipe Lima last June. Naimov and Ofli fought to even terms on the feet, but the former was able to parlay a pair of takedowns into 5:36 worth of control time, which essentially won him the fight. Still just 30 years of age, Naimov has quietly racked up victories in four of his first five UFC bouts. He's worth keeping an eye on, even in a deep featherweight division.
