ANALYSIS
Gibson was by no means overwhelmed in a fight that was booked just a few days ago, but you'd likely have to search long and hard for anyone that thought he deserved to win here. Of course, one of those people happened to be one of the three judges. Gibson was able to get nothing going on the feet, which wasn't much of a surprise given how shifty Green is. Lance did manage two takedowns, but did nothing with his positional advantage. The 30-year-old Canadian competed for Bellator from October 2019 to March 2023, going 5-1 with the company. He's been fighting on the Washington regional scene ever since prior to his UFC arrival.

Gibson will fight King Green at UFC Vegas 112 on Saturday, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

ANALYSIS
After posting a 9-1 record to begin his professional career, Gibson will now make the move to the UFC and receive his first test in the form of Green, who has 26 UFC fights under his belt but has dropped three of his last four.
